Stick Marsh is located near Fellsmere FL on the East Coast. It is near Vero Beach, FL and also very close to Blue Cypress Lake. Managed by FWC, this wetland area has a mangrove island accessible by boat or simply by observing the spoonbills during nesting season from the shore. It is a dense mangrove island, so don't expect shots of spoonbill babies in the nest. It is however an excellent spot to get flight images of spoonbills gathering nesting materials. There is a boat ramp and restroom facility.
